The City advises the public of roadworks that will commence in Blue Downs over the next week. The City will be resurfacing Eersriv Way (M32); Buttskop Road and Wimbledon Road over the next month.

The City of Cape Town will be resurfacing the following portions of these roads:
· Eersriv Way(M32) from Hindle Road to Wimbledon Road
· Wimbledon Road from Buttskop Road to Range Road
· Buttskop Road from Wimbledon Road to Vineyard Avenue
The roadworks are planned for weekdays, including Sundays. Kerb repairs and sidewalk works will be done during the day between 09:00 and 15:30. Road resurfacing work will be done at night between 19:00 and 05:00.
The works will include:
· Repairing kerbs and sidewalks
· Raising Wimbledon Road by resurfacing with two layers of asphalt
· Resurfacing of Eersriv Way(M32) and Buttskop Road with asphalt.
‘To ensure that residents are least impacted, the team will be doing the road resurfacing work at night and the sidewalk and kerb repairs during the day. We ask that residents please cooperate with the staff on the ground over the next month so that they can complete the project as efficiently as possible,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
