The roads that will be worked on are:
The scope of the work includes the resurfacing and ancillary works of the affected roads. The work will also include the repair of damaged manholes, catchpits, frames and chambers. All existing road markings shall be referenced and reinstated with road marking paint.
Road closures will be active between 07.30 and 17.00 daily for the duration of the project. Traffic will be accommodated via stop/go during these hours. All roads will be opened to traffic outside of these hours.
‘Due to higher traffic volumes along Kanarie Road and Flamingo Crescent during the week, sections of the roadworks have been scheduled for the weekend. We would like to thank road users for their patience in this infrastructure-led project to improve the road network in this area. Residents can expect a level of noise and dust during this time,’ said the City’s Mayoral Committee Member for Urban Mobility, Councillor Rob Quintas.
